About me
Ariana Donaville (she/her) is a seasoned communications professional, currently serving as the Communications Manager for the King County Regional Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Ariana's personal journey, marked by the tragic loss of her mother to gun violence at the age of seven, drives her unwavering commitment to advocating for change. Ariana's career path showcases a seamless blend of professional expertise and heartfelt purpose, initially beginning in San Francisco where she managed an impressive client portfolio that included Fortune 500 companies. However, it was her lived experience with gun violence and deep-rooted passion that redirected her focus toward utilizing her communication skills for gun violence prevention, sparking a transformative shift in her career trajectory. In her current role, Ariana is focused on reshaping the narrative surrounding gun violence, amplifying the voices of directly impacted communities, and shedding light on the urgent public health crisis it presents.
